Really informative link u have provided. I was wondering earlier why suddenly blue laser is being used instead of red laser as in the contemporary CD/DVD systems. Now I know why. To those who still don't know why let me explain. Blue Lazer is having a very shorter wavelength than Red Lazer and it can make smaller pits for writing than its counterpart Red Lazer.
